ANNUAL THEATRE PRODUCTION

Students of St. Stephen Secondary have the opportunity to audition and/or be a part of the cast and crew of our annual Theatre Production.

The production is an extracurricular activity, with rehearsals occurring after school hours on a weekly basis and on select weekends throughout the months of November to May.

Interested students attend an introductory meeting in the month of October that outlines audition requirements, introduces the rehearsal schedule, and provides information about the selected production piece for the year.

IMPROV CLUB

Students of St. Stephen Secondary have the opportunity to practice and learn improvisational performance and presentation skills in our extracurricular Improv Club.

Improvisation is a type of theatre that allows students to develop personally created characters, and interact with fellow performers.

Activities within this group encourage students to be spontaneous, creative, and to explore using drama in a unique, supportive environment.

This group meets on Tuesday afternoons in the months of September and October in Semester I, and in the months of May and June in Semester II.
