People who walked alongside Stephen, the patron saint of this secondary school community, knew him to be a wise and faith-filled man. They placed profound trust in his leadership as they believed he was filled with, and guided by, the power and grace of the Holy Spirit. Stephen put every ounce of his energy and wisdom, and ultimately his very life, to the service of the Gospel and the building of the Christian church. He was the first Christian martyr.
